Hey folks, I've recently encountered a strange problem with my RTX 2070. Just a few months back, I was playing *Red Dead Redemption 2* on ultra settings with smooth 60 FPS, but now I'm experiencing a huge drop in performance. Even on medium settings, FPS is only around 8-10, and some games barely reach 20-30 FPS even at the lowest settings. I've checked several things: the GPU is recognized, the fans are working fine, and I've updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers. Temperatures seem okay when idle, and no changes have been made to my system hardware. It feels like the GPU isn't fully engaging during gameplay—almost like it's stuck in a low-performance mode or being throttled. I'm wondering if this could be related to power delivery, thermal throttling, or maybe driver issues? Any thoughts on tests I can run or what might be going wrong? Here's my system info: GPU: RTX 2070, CPU: Ryzen 7 5700g, RAM: 32 GB, PSU: 650 watt, OS: Windows 10.

You should check the core and memory clock speeds as well as the wattage of the GPU when it’s under heavy load. You can use an overlay tool like MSI Afterburner to monitor this.
