Hey everyone, I've got a PC with these specs: Ryzen 5 3400G, GTX 1060, 16GB RAM, and 1TB NVMe storage. Lately, it's been running really slow. I tried playing God of War 2 on an emulator, and it was only hitting around 20fps at 1080p. Browsing on Chrome is lagging too. I recently installed FL Studio and some plugins, along with Adobe apps, but I had played God of War II before all that with no issues. I'm starting to wonder if my TV, which I'm using as a monitor, could be bottlenecking performance or if I just didn't set it up right. When I bought the PC, the seller assured me everything was optimized and it would be plug and play. Any thoughts?

Honestly, it sounds like you might have gotten scammed. If you paid a lot, I'd definitely check to see if everything's working as it should be. And yes, emulators can put a ton of strain on your system, especially if you’re using CHD files, so consider lowering the resolution or tweaking emulator settings.
Your setup might be a bit on the older side for demanding games, especially emulators. God of War games can be really resource-intensive when emulated, and the 3400G is somewhat limited for gaming. You might want to check if you're using the latest version of PCSX2 and if there are specific settings that could help improve performance.
That's a good point! I didn't realize those games were so demanding under emulation. What settings would you recommend changing?
I did buy it used, so that's a possibility. I’ll have to look into those settings for sure.
