I shut down my PC overnight, and when I turned it back on the next day, my SATA SSD is now running at 100% all the time. I've already tried disabling Windows indexing and Sysmain, but that didn't help. Here are my PC specs: i7 14700k, RX 7800 XT, MSI 760m Plus Wifi, Corsair DDR5 6000mhz, PNY 480GB SATA SSD, and WD Blue SN570 1TB. Is my SATA drive failing? Also, is there a way to transfer my Windows installation to my other SSD?

You might want to run CrystalDiskInfo to check your SSD's health. It can provide insights on whether your drive is nearing failure. Additionally, using Process Explorer can help you find out which process is causing all that disk I/O activity. If the drive is indeed failing, consider using Macrium Reflect to clone your OS onto the WD Blue NVMe drive. Just make sure to set it as the first boot device in your BIOS after cloning!
That's useful info! I had a similar issue and found that disabling some background apps helped. Maybe check for any unnecessary programs running.
Another easy option is to check the drive's health status with CrystalDiskInfo. It's a straightforward tool and can help you see if there's anything wrong.
Thanks for the tips! I checked CrystalDiskInfo and it says my drive is healthy, but I'm still not sure how to find out what's causing the high I/O.
