I'm having a problem where my system is constantly using a lot of CPU resources, which is really affecting my performance when I'm gaming. I have an RTX 4060 and an 8700F processor, and I suspect it might be linked to my GPU drivers. The CPU usage spikes up to around 40% after gaming, and it doesn't go back down afterwards. I initially thought it might be an anti-cheat program running in the background, but it doesn't make sense why it wouldn't return to normal when I close the games. I've also recently completed a clean install of Windows and did some debloating, but that hasn't resolved the issue either.

Have you checked what processes are running in the background? Windows can be quite a resource hog, especially after a fresh install. Sometimes, it's doing updates you might not be aware of, which can drastically increase CPU usage. If that’s the case, let it complete its tasks and see if the usage drops afterward. Otherwise, it might be worth looking into what applications are active when those spikes occur.
Could it be that Windows is still updating in the background? After a reinstall, it often downloads all sorts of updates without you knowing. This can eat up your CPU for a while. Keep an eye on the update settings to see if anything's running.
