Why is the Q key on my wife’s gaming PC acting up?

I need some help with my wife's gaming PC. The Q key isn't working by itself anymore, but when I press the Q key along with the Windows key, it opens the search bar. I've tested three different keyboards, all from various brands, and I still get the same issue. However, when I boot into Safe Mode, the Q key functions perfectly. I've checked and there are no accessibility settings enabled. I'm stumped and the only option that comes to mind is a full Windows reinstall, but I'd like to avoid that if possible. Any advice would be great!

It sounds like a strange issue. Since you’ve already tried multiple keyboards, it could be a software conflict. Have you checked if any background software might be interfering? Sometimes, keyboard software can cause weird behaviors.

Yeah, I uninstalled Logitech's software too, thinking that might be the problem!

That makes sense! I had a similar issue with Razer's software once. But I don't have any keyboard software running on this PC, just the basics.
