I'm new to Linux and recently switched to Ubuntu. After installing Timeshift, I noticed in my disk usage analyzer that my boot partition is taking up 2.0 GB, with 94% of that (1.9 GB) coming from Timeshift backups. I'm not sure if I should be concerned about this or what it means. Can someone explain?

If your disk usage analyzer is showing such high usage from Timeshift, it indeed seems like the backups are mistakenly stored in the boot folder. Double-check Timeshift's settings and make sure to change the backup location. After you've saved your settings and made a new backup, don't forget to delete the old files in the boot partition. Good luck!
It sounds like Timeshift is saving its backups to your boot partition, which isn't ideal. You should check the Timeshift settings to ensure it's configured correctly to save backups elsewhere, preferably on a filesystem partition rather than the boot. After you update the settings, create a new backup to ensure it uses the right location, then delete the old Timeshift files from the boot partition to free up space.
