Why Isn’t ChatGPT Saving My Memory?

I'm having trouble getting ChatGPT to save memories. I keep receiving the 'Updated Saved Memory' message after I try to save something, but when I check the memory log, it's completely empty. I've tried refreshing the page and starting new chats, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else faced this problem? Any help would be appreciated!

What exactly are you trying to save? Sometimes it helps to be specific because some types of content might not save properly.

I feel you! I've been having the same issue. My AI also says it saved some memories but when I check, they're just not there. It's frustrating, and I think it's just another bug from OpenAI, like the issues we faced last month. You’re not alone in this!

Maybe try asking it about its own memory settings? That might help it refresh or understand what it needs to do to save correctly!

Good idea! I'll give that a shot and see what happens.

You might want to check out some other threads about this issue. It seems like there's a limitation on memory size; for instance, you might not be able to save anything longer than 50 characters. It’s unclear if this is a bug or something intentional, but a lot of people are feeling the same pain. Hang in there!
