I'm trying to set up a dual boot on a single hard drive and I've made 150GB of unallocated space for Endeavor. However, when I go into the installer and select my hard drive, it shows the file system as ataraid. Because of this, it doesn't display any partitions or even how much space is used. Has anyone encountered this issue?

It sounds like your SATA controller settings might be the issue. Check your BIOS and see if it's set to RAID; you want to change it to AHCI. Just be careful—if you have Windows already installed, changing that could break its boot process. Make sure to backup your data before making changes.
Endeavor isn't exactly designed for beginners! But seriously, if you're having issues, one tip is to always connect via an ethernet cable during installation—it can help with recognition and downloads.
I had a similar problem when dual booting. I ended up deleting all partition data for that segment in Windows because the partition tools in the Endeavor installer were pretty limiting. If Gparted isn't available in the installer, that might be why it isn't recognizing the unallocated space.
