Why Isn’t My GPU Displaying Anything?

I recently built a PC and everything works well, except for my graphics card. When I try to use the GPU, it doesn't display a signal, but the motherboard operates fine, and I can see the RAM and SSDs during BIOS setup. What can I do to fix this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Start by listing your parts. It helps a lot to know what you're working with. Also, check your cables—if you have a modular power supply, ensure both ends of the cables are connected well.

Make sure that you plugged everything in correctly. Double-check that the display cable is connected to your GPU and not the motherboard, too. It's an easy mistake to make!

Could you share the models of your GPU, motherboard, and power supply? That info could help us provide better suggestions. Also, have you checked if the GPU shows up in device manager or other system tools?

I had a similar issue with a new build. It turned out my GPU just wasn't seated correctly in the slot. Also, don't stress about the GPU not appearing in BIOS—it usually doesn't.

Three important checks: 1. Ensure your GPU is fully clicked into the PCIe slot, 2. Make sure the power cable to the GPU is secure, and 3. Confirm that your monitor's cable is plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard. One of those is probably the issue!
