I recently upgraded to an MSI H310 Pro VH motherboard and an Intel i5 9500 CPU, moving on from an older i7 3770 setup that used a Chinese H61 motherboard. My Antec 550W PSU works perfectly with my old build. Now I'm trying to use my RX 570 GPU from the i7 build on the new i5 setup, but I'm running into a major issue. The GPU powers on—fans spin and lights come on—but I'm getting no display from it; the output is coming from the motherboard instead and Windows doesn't detect the GPU at all.
To troubleshoot, I tested a friend's GTX 1650 Super in the new setup and it worked fine, and my RX 570 functions perfectly on his computer. I've tried quite a few things on my end, such as flashing both the BIOS and the VBIOS, toggling CSM, legacy mode, and above 4G decoding, and setting PCIE only boot. I also followed the DDU method, tried single RAM sticks, and tested all components separately. Any advice on what I might be missing would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you’ve done a lot of troubleshooting already! Make sure you also try reseating the GPU in the PCIe slot. Sometimes it helps to check if there’s any dust buildup or if the slot itself might be faulty. Keep me posted!
Have you checked the BIOS to ensure it's set for the add-in GPU? If it’s not set right, it could default to the onboard graphics. Make sure all your power connectors are securely connected too, especially the 4-pin connector on the motherboard and the necessary ports on the GPU.
