I'm having trouble with getting audio through HDMI on my setup. I recently purchased a Chinese motherboard from the free market, and despite multiple reinstalls and checks, there's no sound coming from the HDMI. My graphics card is an RX 550 with 4GB DDR5. I'm uncertain whether the issue is with the graphics card or the motherboard. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: Soyo b450m d4 pro
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5500
- RAM: 16GB at 3200 from XPG
- SSD: 512GB from bwin
- Power Supply: Generic 600W Halion
- Case: Office model.
Interestingly, I do get sound through the motherboard's audio outputs or via Bluetooth when I connect speakers directly. Any suggestions?

Just to clarify, are you saying there’s no sound from your TV when connected via HDMI? If that’s the case, it could just be that the TV doesn’t have speakers.
What monitor are you using? Sometimes, monitors don't come with built-in speakers, which could be why you're not hearing anything through HDMI.
Have you checked if the audio source in your PC settings is correctly set to HDMI? If it's not selected, Windows might think there's no audio device connected.
