I'm having trouble with my iPhone 17 not being able to AirDrop anything to my MacBook Pro Max M1. I used to own an iPhone 12, and AirDrop worked perfectly fine until a couple of weeks ago. Now, it's not transferring any pictures, videos, websites—nothing at all. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Keep in mind that your MacBook also needs to be on a fairly recent macOS version, like macOS Monterey or later, to support AirDrop with the latest iPhones. But be cautious about updating if you're worried about compatibility issues with your work software.
Make sure your iPhone is running iOS 16 or later, as it should be able to AirDrop to a compatible Mac. Also, ensure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on for both devices and that they're within close range. Sometimes, toggling these settings off and on can help as well.
Yeah, I had a similar issue. Restarting both devices often clears up any connectivity glitches.

True! I avoided updating my Mac for a long time just to keep my software working smoothly. It can be a real hassle sometimes.
