I'm having a major issue with my microphone on my MSI PRO Z790-P WiFi motherboard. My setup includes an Intel I7-13700KF, Windows 11 Version 24H2, and I'm using a Razer Blackshark V2 X headset. Despite installing the necessary drivers from MSI's support page, my microphone isn't functioning properly. Although audio output works, the microphone shows '0% Volume' when tested. Windows seems to recognize it as a microphone, but I keep getting prompts for device type. I also see the correct jack mapping in the Realtek Console.
In the device manager, I notice that it's using audiendpoint.inf as the driver, whereas oem14.inf is the one I need. I can't manually select the Realtek driver either. I tried forcing Windows to use the correct driver using pnputil, and I've reinstalled MSI's drivers multiple times without success, even after removing previous installations and disabling auto-updates. The event log shows the error code 0xC0000719 for the microphone. My headset works perfectly fine on my other devices, so I'm at a loss here. Any ideas to fix this?

Have you tried looking into the BIOS settings? Sometimes there might be options that influence the audio settings. Make sure that onboard audio is enabled, and check if there are any specific settings for the front panel audio.
It sounds like the issue might be related to the single jack setup of your headset. Some motherboards have separate ports for audio input and output, while your headset probably requires a combo port. Double check your connections and make sure you're using a high-quality splitter that supports both audio and mic functions. You might need to try a different splitter if you're still having trouble.
I'm already using a splitter and it's plugged in correctly. I've checked multiple times.
