Why isn’t my PC displaying video with the new 16GB RAM sticks?

I recently upgraded my RAM to 2x16GB at 3200MHz, but now my PC won't display any video. Strangely enough, when I mix one old 8GB stick with one of the new 16GB sticks, it works and recognizes 24GB of RAM. However, when I try to run both 16GB sticks together for dual-channel, there's no video output. I've tried disabling XMP and even reset the BIOS settings, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Have you tried booting with just the 2x16GB sticks? It might help to confirm if they’re the issue or if there’s another underlying problem. Also, do you really need more than 32GB of RAM?

My motherboard supports up to 64GB, but it only works with one 16GB and one 8GB stick at a time. I need both 16GB sticks to reach 32GB, but that's when I lose video signal.

It sounds like the new RAM might not be compatible with your motherboard or with each other in dual-channel mode. Sometimes RAM sticks can be tricky. Have you checked if there's a BIOS update for your motherboard? That could solve the issue.
