I'm trying to build a budget PC for my son using some second-hand parts I found. The setup includes an i3 4170 CPU, an Asus H81M-K motherboard, 16GB of DDR3 RAM, and a Silverstone 500W 80+ White power supply, along with a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 4GB graphics card. The issue is that the RX580 isn't providing a signal; it works fine with the integrated graphics though. I checked the graphics card on my own PC, and it functions perfectly there. I also tested my RTX 4060 on my son's setup, and that works without a hitch. Could the power supply be the culprit for the RX 580's signal issues?

First off, make sure the fan on the RX580 is spinning. If it is, check to see if the switch on the card is set to gaming mode instead of mining mode. Sometimes that can affect performance too!
When you swapped the cables, did you use the same 8-pin cable that you had for the RTX 4060? Note that the RX 580 uses an 8+6 pin setup, while the RTX 4060 may have a different configuration; just double-check those connections!
The RX580 has both an 8-pin and a 6-pin, while the RTX4060 just has an 8-pin. I'll look into the cables to make sure everything's connected right.

Yes, the fan is turning, and I tried switching modes, but I'm not entirely sure which is which.
