Why won’t my desktop PC turn on without unplugging it?

I'm having some trouble with my desktop PC; it won't turn on unless I unplug it and then plug it back in. If I turn it off and leave it plugged in, it doesn't respond at all. Has anyone experienced this before? I'd love to hear any advice on what might be going wrong or how to fix it!

Honestly, who really powers off their desktop anymore? I usually just put mine to sleep. But if you do turn it off regularly, you might want to check your settings or even see if something is wrong with the power settings in the BIOS.

Haha, I know right? I guess I’m just old school! I'll look into that BIOS setting, thanks!

It sounds like there might be an issue with either the power supply or the power button itself. Have you checked if the power supply unit is functioning properly? Sometimes, it can fail to provide adequate power, which can cause issues like this.
