I have an RX6600 graphics card paired with a Ryzen 5 5500 processor. At startup, with just my browser and Discord running, both components are at around 30°C. However, after gaming, the temperatures rise to about 60°C and then settle around 40-45°C even after several hours of only light tasks. I'm wondering if this is normal and whether there's anything I can do to improve the situation.

Check if your case has good ventilation and airflow. It might be retaining heat after gaming, making it harder for the temperatures to drop back down. Improving airflow could help cool everything off faster.
That behavior is pretty normal, especially if your GPU has a 0 rpm fan mode. Once it cools down a bit, it should drop more, but the temps you're seeing are generally fine.
What you're experiencing is known as heat soak, and it's totally normal. Your components will hold onto heat for a while after being under load.
It seems like your GPU is fine at those temps. If you want to force the fans to run at full speed all the time, you can set a manual fan curve. It might get a bit noisy, but it won't really change the idle temperature much.
60°C is actually a really good temp for gaming! And hanging around 40°C while idle is perfectly acceptable too. It's common for components to warm up and gradually cool down; you usually don't need to worry until things hit around 80°C.
