Why won’t my motherboard fit in the case?

I'm having trouble getting my motherboard, a B650 Eagle AX, to line up properly with my Sharkoon SK3 case. It's my first time dealing with a motherboard that has a preinstalled IO shield, and I need the motherboard to shift just a millimeter to the left for the screw holes to align. Should I remove the IO shield or is there another solution? I can't attach pictures here, but I did upload them to Imgur and linked them in my post.

Uploading your photos to Imgur is a great idea! It can help others see your setup and give specific advice. Just remember, don't remove that IO shield. Preinstalled shields can save you a ton of hassle. You should have a bit of room to maneuver the motherboard. Check if you're trying to align with the right holes, as sometimes a case only needs to fit into one big hole for the IO to pop through. Good luck!

Good point! Having a single mounting place can definitely simplify things.

Thanks for the confirmation! I uploaded the Imgur link for the pictures.

You might just need to wiggle the motherboard a little to get it into position. It can be tricky, and even though it looks like it's on, it might be a tiny bit off. I've had that experience with my ASUS ROG boards before. Just keep trying!
