I left my PC unplugged for about a month, and when I powered it on today, my monitor displayed no signal even though the fans were running and lights were on. I tried to turn it off, but the power button was unresponsive, despite trying to tap it and holding it for 30 seconds. I also noticed some USB ports weren't working. Eventually, I unplugged it from the wall, plugged it back in, and it booted up normally, although Windows asked me to create a password for my desktop, which was odd since I hadn't set one up before. My PC is only about two months old, but the graphics card is four years old. Did my BIOS or CMOS reset, or is it something else causing this issue?

You might want to consider the possibility of a BIOS reset, especially if the issue happens again. It can sometimes work itself out after a while, but make sure you have your data backed up just in case anything gets weird with the BIOS settings down the line.
It sounds like your PC might not have shut down correctly before being unplugged. Usually, leaving it unplugged for so long shouldn't cause problems if it was turned off properly. Sometimes, a power cycle like what you did—unplugging and plugging it back in—can reset things and fix issues. It’s good that it’s working now, but keep an eye on it just in case!

Yeah, a standard shutdown should prevent these kinds of problems. It’s strange, though. I’d suggest checking the power supply and ensuring everything's connected properly.
