Why won’t my PC turn on?

I know I plugged everything in correctly and took care not to break any pins. However, when I flip the switch on my PSU, nothing happens, and the fan doesn't spin at all. I'm worried I might have damaged something.

When was the last time your PC actually turned on? If it worked an hour ago, perhaps it's a PSU issue, especially if the fan isn’t spinning even when powered on.

What are the specs of your CPU and motherboard? If you have a 7800X3D, just a heads-up that it can take a while to boot up and learn its RAM timing.

Thanks for all the tips, everyone! Here's a pic of my setup—it's looking good. Just needs to power on!

First things first, is your PSU definitely getting power? If you're using a power strip, make sure it's switched on.

Try gently hitting the PSU. Kidding! But seriously, if you thrifted it for $40, it might not have enough power for your build.
