Why won’t my Windows activation key accept “Z”?

I've got a Windows activation key that contains a "Z" but I keep getting an error saying that it's invalid. I'm starting to wonder if there are other letters that aren't accepted too. If "Z" is part of the key, why is it being rejected? What should I do?

Have you tried using the virtual keyboard? Sometimes your physical keyboard might be set to a different language, which can cause issues when entering certain characters. It might help to switch things up a bit.

I tried that, but it didn’t work either. Maybe the virtual keyboard was set to another language as well? I’m not sure.
