I've got a broken Wi-Fi antenna in the hinge area of my laptop and I have no clue how to fix it. I'm wondering if getting a USB Wi-Fi adapter would solve my connectivity issues?

Absolutely! A USB Wi-Fi card will have its own antenna and is much easier to set up compared to replacing the internal antenna, which can be tricky since you'd need to remove the screen.
Yeah, using a USB Wi-Fi adapter is definitely a good solution. They come with their own antenna, so it should work just fine for you.
