Hey everyone! I'm considering an upgrade and wanted to get your thoughts on whether my i5 13400F processor will bottleneck a 5080 GPU when gaming at 1080p. Here are my specs: I have a b760 motherboard, 32GB of RAM, a 4070, and an 850W power supply. Do you think it's worth it or will I face performance issues?

Honestly, you might already be facing some bottlenecking issues with your current 4070 in certain games. The i5 13400F isn't a powerhouse, so attaching a 5080 is likely overkill for 1080p gaming. It's good for high-refresh rates, but you might want to consider if you really need that level of performance right now.

I’ve got an i5-14400F and I noticed some bottlenecks too, especially trying to run Doom at 4K with max settings. At 1080p, my guess is you're just doubling down on performance you may not utilize fully.
