Hey everyone! I have a laptop that came with Windows preinstalled, and I'm planning to do a factory reset. Just wanted to confirm, if I reset my laptop, will I still have Windows on it afterward? Thanks for the help!

Just a heads up: not every laptop comes with the key integrated. Mine doesn’t, but I managed to keep track of the key, so I'm good!
You probably won’t lose Windows. The activation key is usually embedded on the motherboard. You can reset your laptop through the settings menu or perform a fresh install using a USB drive, but make sure to use the same version of Windows that’s currently installed, or activation might not work.

Got it! So should I go for the 'reinstall locally' option? Just checking, I have an Asus Vivobook X1404V. Thanks again!
