I'm looking at my current PC setup and I'm wondering if everything is 100% compatible. The guide mentions potential use of an adapter, but I'm not sure if it's necessary. Specifically, will I need an adapter to connect my USB devices, especially since I might have more USB 2.0 devices than headers on my motherboard?

If you plan to use more USB 2.0 devices than you have headers for on your motherboard, then yes, you might want an adapter. Most likely, your fan hub or CPU cooler could require an extra slot, so keep that in mind!
Actually, you might not need any adapters at all. Some controllers, like the one from Lian Li, can manage up to 16 fans using just a single USB 2.0 header. So if you have enough headers available, you should be good to go without needing any extra adapters!

Ahh ok thanks!
