I'm considering upgrading my graphics card and currently have a Super Flower Legion HX 650W 80+ Gold PSU that's a bit over three years old. Right now, I'm running an i5-12400 and an RTX 2060, but I'm thinking about moving to an RTX 4070S or RTX 5070. Based on the specs, I believe my PSU should be sufficient, but since I've never dealt with such powerful GPUs before, I'm looking for some advice. My PSU has two 6+2 PCIe connectors, and I understand that these GPUs require a 16-pin power connector. Would connecting both 6+2 pins work for that?

Your PSU is at the minimum recommendation, but it should still work well. The RTX 5070 will come with an adapter for the 12VHPWR connection, so you'll just plug in your 8 pins. Just avoid using any pigtail adapters.
Yeah, either of those GPUs should be just fine with your 650W PSU.

Got it, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying!
