Hey everyone! I'm completely new to coding and only have basic computer knowledge. I find myself pretty much lost with all the programming languages out there. I'd love to get some guidance on how to start, preferably with a clear path to follow. Any suggestions on where to begin? Thanks a ton in advance!

Choosing your first programming language is key! Think about the field you want to explore. Whether it's embedded development, web development, or app building, make sure it excites you. Try to join projects that help you learn the basics. And remember, failing at projects often teaches you more than succeeding!

Programming is like being an electrician. What do you want to use your coding skills for? Data science, game development, web apps? Each area has specific tools that make things easier. So, figure out what interests you most and explore that path—it’ll make learning way more fun!

Honestly, language isn’t as important as just picking one. I’d recommend starting with Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript. There are lots of resources available since this question comes up all the time. I heard cs50 is a great place to start!

For beginners, I suggest going with Python. It’s easy to learn and super useful. You can start with PCEP and then move on to PCAP. They're free courses that will really help you build a solid foundation! Check them out at edube.org.
