I accidentally tripped over my headphone wire and yanked it out of my gaming laptop. The 3.5mm plug got bent, and now the port on the laptop feels a bit loose. Everything else seems fine, but I'm worried if this will cause any bigger issues later on. I can switch to USB headphones, but I'm concerned my laptop might have hidden damage. What should I do?

You're probably fine! If the laptop is still working well, there’s a good chance it’s not a big deal. But keep an eye on that headphone jack—if it breaks completely, you'd need to get it fixed. For now, USB headphones are a solid backup.
It sounds like you might have messed up the port a bit, but as long as the laptop works, you should be in the clear. If it were a serious issue with the motherboard, you'd likely see some crazy errors or a complete failure. Just monitor it—it might be easier to stick with USB headphones for now.
Yeah, as long as everything else runs smoothly you should be okay! Just make sure not to force it too much.
