I have a bent pin on my LGA 775 motherboard and I'm wondering if it will still work when I try to install the CPU. The pin that's bent is the one that looks like it's missing in my photo, and I want to get some advice before powering it on. The CPU's triangle aligns with the bottom left corner. Here's the image of the socket: https://imgur.com/a/NmWfTXd

It really depends on what that bent pin is for. It could be connected to memory, PCIe, power, etc. There’s a chance it might boot up fine, but there’s also the possibility that it won't due to the bent pin.
I straightened a bent pin in my motherboard with a sharpened pencil once. I'm planning to boot my motherboard tomorrow to see if it works. If I have any issues, I'll update this.
Just be careful! If you used a pencil, make sure no graphite got into the socket because it conducts electricity and that could cause some serious problems!
