I'm about to order parts for my new PC build and want to make sure everything is compatible and will work smoothly. Here's what I'm planning to use: a 9800X3D CPU, B650 Eagle AX motherboard, 9070 XT GPU, and a ThermalRight Assassin 120 cooler. Any advice on potential issues or tips before I go ahead?

Your build should run just fine, but remember, the X3D chips do love their cooling! A decent tower cooler will do the job, but I’d suggest considering an AIO cooler for better performance.
For a build over $1600, I'd actually recommend spending a little extra—maybe $10 to $20—on a B850 motherboard instead. It wouldn't cause any problems if you stick with the B650, though. Just some food for thought!
Are you talking about the B850 Gaming? I heard it's pretty similar, just with PCIe 5.0 support for future-proofing.
Just a heads up, you'll likely need to update the BIOS on the B650 motherboard to ensure it works with the newer X3D chips. That's pretty common advice.
I’ve seen that the latest versions already come with F31 BIOS, so I don’t think that will be an issue.
Yeah, I heard the 9800X3D is efficient and runs cooler. I'm planning to stick with air cooling for gaming, but I might look into an AIO later.
