Will My PC Build Handle AAA Games Smoothly?

Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and I'm mainly interested in playing AAA games like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. I want to get smooth gameplay at around 60-70 fps, but I'm not looking for extreme graphics settings. As long as I can avoid low-medium settings and still maintain that fps, I'll be happy. I've double-checked that all my components are compatible, and I've picked a cooler and fan setup to keep things from overheating. My goal is to have this rig last me for about five years without lag, and I don't plan on going for 4K gaming or frame generation since I mostly play online. I've got SSDs from my old PC that I'll be using, so here's a brief rundown of what I've selected so far:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz 12-Core
- **Motherboard:** Asus PRIME B840-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5
- **GPU:** PowerColor Hellhound OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB
- **Memory:** TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB DDR5-6000
- **Cooler:** Deepcool AK620 ZERO DARK
- **Power Supply:** be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 550 W
- **Case:** Corsair FRAME 4000D Mid Tower

The total comes to around $1152.43. Do you think this build can keep up with what I'm hoping to achieve?

It sounds like you're on the right track, but be mindful of your power supply. The 550W might be a little on the lower side for your build, especially under load. I'd recommend at least a 650W PSU for better headroom, or even up to 750W for peace of mind, especially if you ever consider upgrading your GPU in the future.

Thanks for the tip! I actually meant to go for a 750W PSU but accidentally selected the 550W. Good catch!

Your build looks solid for 1080p gaming, and it should handle most AAA titles pretty well with decent settings. If you're aiming for longevity, though, I'd suggest looking into a more powerful GPU if your budget allows. That way, you might be able to squeeze out better performance at 1440p too! Check out this modified build for some alternatives that fit within a similar budget.

Thanks for the insights! Any specific GPUs you'd recommend that won’t break the bank?

I appreciate the suggestion! I’m just trying to find that balance between cost and performance.
