Hey everyone, I'm new to the whole PC upgrading scene and I'm considering getting a 4060 Ti. I've heard that power supplies can sometimes cause issues with this kind of upgrade. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Intel 11th Generation Core i7
- Current GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB
- Motherboard: Asus Prime B560A
- Power Supply: Apevia 600W Premier 80PLUS GOLD

Do you think my setup is good for this upgrade?

You’re swapping out a 170-watt GPU for a 160-watt GPU, so your PSU is definitely capable of handling it. If your current setup runs well, this should be a straightforward upgrade.

Awesome, thank you! I wasn’t sure if it was that simple.

You should be good to go! The 4060 Ti is a 160-watt card, and the recommended power supply is around 450 to 550 watts, depending on your setup. Your 600W PSU exceeds that, but just a note: I’ve seen mixed reviews about your PSU brand—might want to keep an eye on it when you're upgrading.

Yeah, your setup looks fine! Just a heads up though, it might be more cost-effective to get a 9060 XT instead of the 4060 Ti. If you go for it, definitely aim for the 16GB versions rather than the 8GB ones.
