Hey everyone! I'm exploring this PC build and I want to know if it'll handle 360 fps in CS2 without any hiccups, especially while I'm streaming. None of these parts are bought yet, so I'm flexible on suggestions, especially if I can get the same performance at a lower price either with used or new components. With the current outrageous RAM prices, I'm also looking for ways to save money. I'm located in the UK, so any advice on that front would be appreciated! Additionally, I initially wanted to go with a 9070 XT for my GPU, but I've heard that Nvidia is better for streaming. Is that true? Here's my build:
- GPU: GTX 5060ti with 16GB (3x OC)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600x3d or 7 7800x3d
- MoBo: Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite Wifi7
- PSU: Corsair RM750x Shift Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - 80 PLUS Gold
- SSD: Kingston NV3 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME
- Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 240
- RAM: Patriot Viper Elite 5 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 6000
- CASE: Montech AIR 903 MAX Midi-Tower. Thanks in advance!

AMD's encoder has improved significantly with the new 9000-series. Check out this video I found on it: [link]. But the 9070 XT is still pricier compared to the 5060ti. While it performs better in gaming, for both gaming and streaming, most still find Nvidia to deliver better overall performance. It’s worth considering your specific needs.
Heads up about the NV3 SSD—it's using QLC flash, which isn't super durable and can slow down after a couple of years. You might want to look into better alternatives like the TeamGroup MP33 Pro or the Patriot P320 which use TLC flash for better longevity and speed. Also, consider air coolers if you want to save some cash; an AiO cooler is more for aesthetics in your case.
Yeah, it looks like that build should hold 360 fps without a problem! Just search for '5060ti CS2 at your monitor resolution' on YouTube to see how it performs. Also, Nvidia's encoder is generally more efficient and offloads some work from the CPU during streaming, which is key since CS2 is a bit more CPU-heavy. Going for the 7800x3d is a solid choice for streaming, even if you don’t use a GPU encoder, but I’d still lean towards the faster 9070 XT if budget allows.
