I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600G and I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU to an RX 9070. I'm curious if this setup will lead to a significant CPU bottleneck, especially since I'm gaming at 1440p. If a bottleneck is likely, what budget-friendly CPU upgrades would you recommend?

Honestly, I think you'll be fine. People worry too much about minor bottlenecks. Just go for the RX 9070, and you can upgrade your CPU later if you really feel the need. The 5600G is pretty comparable to the Ryzen 3600 in gaming, but it shouldn’t hold you back too much at 1440p.

I think this is the route I'm going to take. Thanks, buddy!

But keep in mind that the 5600G does have its limits at 1440p, so upgrading to that pricey GPU might not give you the full benefits without a CPU upgrade!
