Hey everyone, I'm trying to burn CDs for the first time but I'm hitting a wall. I've followed a bunch of tutorials online and made sure to choose the right settings to burn as audio CDs instead of data CDs. I'm using an external CD drive, and I've read the manual and installed all necessary software. Still, nothing is working! I've tried different software programs too. If anyone has some advice, I'd really appreciate it because it's getting frustrating and I'm worried I've wasted my money.

You might want to try iTunes—it’s free and often a reliable option for burning CDs. Make sure your music files are in a compatible format. Install iTunes, import your songs, and then create a CD from there. If you run into any issues, share the details step-by-step!
It sounds like you could use a bit more info to troubleshoot. What type of CDs are you using? Are they CD-R or CD-RW? Are they new or used? Also, let us know what software you’ve tried and what errors you’re running into. It’s crucial to know if your external drive can actually burn CDs, as some drives are read-only. What operating system are you on?
Just a reminder, back in the day we had Nero Burning Rom. It was a go-to for many! If you're feeling adventurous, you could check if there’s a newer version of that software that might help you out.
