I have a massive 2TB of data stored on Google Drive and I'm trying to figure out the best way to download it all. I've looked into Google Takeout, but it limits downloads to 50GB at a time. Is there a more efficient method to get everything I need off Google Drive in one go?

You might want to check out Rclone! It's a command-line tool designed to manage files on various cloud storage services, including Google Drive. It supports bulk downloads and can handle all your files efficiently. More info is available on their official site at rclone.org.

Google Takeout could be handy too, but just remember it will create multiple zip files for your downloads! It allows you to select specific files, which might be a bit tricky for 2TB, but it's worth a shot if you're looking to manage it in parts.

I heard some people say sharing 2TB of data on Google Drive isn't a great idea. Should I be concerned about privacy or data security?

Another option is to use the Google Drive desktop client. Just install it, sync your files, and then you can easily copy them to any local disk you want.
