Why Do My Bluetooth Headphones Make Static When Resuming Audio?

I recently bought two pairs of Bluetooth wireless headphones that don't need a USB dongle, and I've been having a weird issue. When I pause any audio and then start it again, I hear this annoying static noise and popping sounds. I'm wondering if it's because the headphones go into a sleep mode when paused too long? I've had a couple of wireless headphones in the past that didn't have this problem—one with a USB dongle and one without. The new ones I'm using are the Momentum 4 and the Skullcandy Crusher. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your PC's Bluetooth connection. A good first step would be to update your Bluetooth drivers and check for any power-saving settings that might be causing the headphones to disconnect or sleep. Disabling those settings can sometimes resolve these kinds of issues.

Yeah, I've faced something similar. If your Bluetooth settings allow, try disabling power-saving features specifically for Bluetooth devices; this can help keep the connection stable and reduce that static noise when you resume audio.
