Hey everyone! I'm just getting into building gaming PCs and I've been overwhelmed by all the information out there. I could really use some help checking my planned build. My goal is to play the next few years' single-player titles like The Witcher 4 and Elder Scrolls 6. I'm not aiming for top-of-the-line performance; I'm looking for stable gameplay at 1440p with frame rates between 60-120 FPS.
Here's what I'm planning to use:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (might upgrade to 9600X if necessary)
- **CPU Cooler:** Deepcool AK400
- **GPU:** Radeon RX 7600 XT 16G (considering upgrading to 9070 or 9070XT)
- **Motherboard:** ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI (heard there may be compatibility issues with the GPU)
- **RAM:** Patriot Viper Venom 32GB KIT DDR5 6000MHz CL36
- **SSD:** Kingston NV3 1TB
- **Power Supply:** ADATA XPG KYBER 750W
- **Case:** GameMax Storm 2 AW (with 6 fans included)
I've got a few specific questions:
1. Is all of this compatible? (especially the motherboard with the GPU/CPU)
2. Will I experience significant bottlenecking with my GPU or CPU?
3. Is a 750W power supply sufficient?
4. Are the 6 included fans adequate for cooling?
Thanks a ton for any help you can provide!

Just a heads up, the RX 7600 XT might struggle with some AAA games at 1440p. If you can swing it, consider the RX 9060 XT or 9070 XT instead. They'll definitely keep you over 90 FPS at 1440p. I'd also recommend upgrading to the 9600X if you can, or even the 7800X3D for better performance overall.
Regarding the SSD, the Kingston NV3 might not be the best choice. It often uses QLC flash, which has lower durability and can slow down over time. Consider getting a TLC flash drive like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or WD Blue SN580 instead for better performance and longevity.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check those out for a more reliable option.

Thanks for the advice! I'm leaning towards the 9600X paired with the 9070XT.
