Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind. My sister's kids are visiting, and they can't get enough of gaming. The catch is, there's only one PC and they keep fighting over it because one wants to do missions and the other just wants to explore. To solve this, I set up Moonlight to stream the game, allowing them both to play simultaneously on the same machine. It works great, but I've run into an issue: both the local PC and the Moonlight session are picking up the same controller inputs. So when one kid makes a move, it messes up the other's gameplay. I thought fixing this separation would be straightforward, but I'm really stuck. Does anyone know how to configure the controls so each kid can use their own device without overlapping?

Just to clarify, are you running two virtual PCs or just one? It sounds like you've minimized a virtual session. If you're only using one physical PC, it could help to check your settings within Moonlight or the game itself to see if you can assign different controllers. Sometimes there are in-game settings for that, depending on the game you're playing!
I faced a similar situation before. You might want to look into controller mapping software. It can help you assign specific controllers to different applications, which could solve your issue. Programs like JoyToKey or Xpadder allow you to map inputs to certain games, but make sure to check compatibility with Moonlight. It could make a world of difference!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely check out those programs and see if they work for my setup.
Yeah, so I minimized the virtual PC. I'm definitely using one physical computer but streaming. I'll look into that in-game setting!
