How can I fix quiet audio on Nobara Linux?

I'm using Nobara Linux, which is based on Fedora, and I have a wired headset that connects through a 3.5mm jack. My motherboard features Nahimic audio, which might be causing my audio issues. The sound is way too quiet, and even with pavucontrol, I can't boost the volume beyond 153%. The audio quality is too bass-heavy and generally not pleasant. I'm also using KDE Plasma, so any tips specific to that environment would be welcome. I've already tried reinstalling Nobara and checking it in a live environment, as well as using alsamixer, but none of those solutions worked. I'm not getting any error messages, so I could really use some help here! Expect me to take a bit of time to respond to any suggestions.

Have you tried using alsamixer to select the correct sound card? When you open alsamixer, you should press F6 to choose your actual sound card from the options. Adjusting the Master volume there might help, as the volume in Pipewire is just a percentage of what’s set at the card level. If that’s set low, it’ll stay quiet no matter what you do in pavucontrol.

I pressed F6 and tried both options, but I find alsamixer confusing. Only tweaking the Master volume seems to have an effect on the sound.
