Why isn’t my USB-C DAC working with my USB 3.1 hub?

Hey everyone! I'm currently trying to get my headphones to work with a USB-C digital audio converter that I'm connecting through a USB 3.1 hub. I purchased the hub from a reputable company, but I'm having trouble getting it to recognize the DAC. I've checked the sound settings on my device and my headphones are not showing up as an output option. Has anyone encountered similar issues or have any tips on getting this to work?

First off, have you installed any necessary drivers for the DAC? Sometimes, certain DACs require drivers to work properly even if they function on smartphones without them. Give that a check!

Wait, does it really need a driver? I’ve always used mine without any extra setup on my phone.
