I'm ready to finally upgrade my headset, moving on from my original Razer Blackshark V2 Pros. They've served me well but it's time for a change! I'm considering a wired setup, but I'm also open to sticking with wireless if needed. I definitely want a closed-back, over-ear design since I didn't enjoy the open-back ones I tried before. Also, I'm thinking of getting a boom arm mic and would prefer an XLR mic, though it's not a dealbreaker. I'd appreciate any suggestions or insights!

For my setup, I use DT 770 Pro Xs with an AT2020 mic, and I think it works really well! A USB mic is great for most situations, but if you're leaning towards an XLR mic, make sure to get an audio interface to go with it for the best sound quality.
I’m thinking about going with your setup! I like those headphones and I don’t really need a fancy mic. Just a couple of questions: are the ear pads replaceable and how comfortable are they for extended use?
