I accidentally clicked on a link in a spam email, and ever since, I've been inundated with spam. I've reported and blocked all the spam emails, but I'm worried it's too late to stop them. Is there anything else I should be concerned about after clicking that link? I originally posted this in a privacy forum, but I was redirected here for more tech-specific advice.

Creating a new email address is an option, but I totally understand how inconvenient that can be. Instead, you might want to use a filter to direct those spam emails to a separate folder or even delete them automatically. Just keep your eyes open for any strange activity from your accounts in case clicking that link had any security implications!
When you report emails as spam, it can sometimes confirm that your email is active, which might lead to more spam. If you clicked an unsubscribe link, that likely did the same. The best course is to stay vigilant and avoid engaging with known spam. You could consider creating a new email for less important sign-ups if it gets overwhelming.
It feels frustrating! I use my email for everything, so starting fresh isn’t an option for me either.

Yeah, definitely! It's a hassle but worth checking on your account security.
