I'm trying to figure out how to run an ethernet cable from my living room, where the ethernet port is, to my bedroom for my gaming PC. Since I live in an apartment, I can't drill through walls or under the floorboards. I'm looking for a solution that allows me to run the cable through my door without damaging it, and I still want to be able to close the door. I've already checked, and there's no ethernet port in my bedroom.

If you really need to run a cable through the door, consider creating a small gap under the door if it's not sealed all the way to the floor. Even a little space can work. Just make sure to secure the cable so it doesn’t get pinched when the door closes.
Using a flat ethernet cable can be super handy! Just remember to tape it securely so it doesn't get caught when opening or shutting the door. Should work fine!
Have you thought about using powerline adapters? They utilize the electrical wiring in your home to transmit the internet signal, eliminating the need for running a physical cable altogether. It's a smart solution for situations like yours where drilling isn't an option.
You can definitely buy a flat ethernet cable that should fit through the gap in the door. I’ve used one before, and it works great! Just ensure it’s not too thick. This way, you won’t risk damaging the cable when closing the door.
Just a thought—if you're running ethernet anyway, have you considered converting to a wired internet setup for your PC? It would definitely improve your gaming experience!
