Best Garuda Linux Version for Gaming on an Old Laptop

I'm looking to install Garuda Linux on my old laptop, which has a Dell Core i7 7700HQ and 8GB of RAM with an Nvidia 1050 Ti (4GB). I'm wondering which version would be best for gaming—should I go for Garuda Dr460nized or Mokka? I attempted to use Ventoy to load it once, but after the loading screen, I was just left staring at the wallpaper without being able to do anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If gaming is your goal, I'd recommend going with the Dr460nized version of Garuda. Also, try using Rufus instead of Ventoy for creating your bootable USB; I found it works a lot smoother.

Thanks for the tip! I tried Rufus, and I was actually able to connect to Wi-Fi after starting the USB live. I ended up installing it and even managed to play some games like No Man's Sky using the Heroic Game Launcher. The setup took a bit, but it feels slightly better than Windows. However, I do experience occasional freezes and slowdowns. Any ideas on how to resolve that?
