I've got two pairs of wireless headphones: Skullcandy JIB True 2 and Wicked Audio (not sure of the model, I think it's EMBR True Wireless). Recently, I forgot to charge their cases and now I'm having trouble getting them to charge. I used the chargers that came with them and tried various charging blocks around my house—every port works fine with other devices. However, both cases heat up when plugged in but won't charge at all. I've also cleaned out the charging ports and the chargers themselves, but nothing seems to help. What's strange is that these chargers work perfectly for everything else except my headphone cases. Neither of the cases has ever gotten wet, and they've always charged without any issues until now. Can someone please help me figure this out?

It sounds like your cases might be toast. If they're getting hot when you charge them, it often means the battery's gone bad. I recommend stopping using them to avoid any possible hazards or damage.

What about the Skullcandy ones though? Mine don't heat up at all, and I've only had them for a couple of months.
