I recently switched from Windows 11 to Fedora KDE 43 and I'm curious if this was the right move for me. I use my laptop mainly for watching movies and TV shows, browsing, listening to music, and flashing custom ROMs. I feel good about my choice so far, especially since I love the feel of Fedora, but I'm wondering what steps I should take next after setting everything up. I haven't really explored theming yet. My laptop specs are a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 8th gen with an Intel Core i5 10th gen, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, you might want to be prepared for some troubleshooting now and then, as is typical with Linux. If dealing with fixes sounds like too much, you might find sticking with Windows easier, but don’t let that scare you! Many users find it rewarding to learn and solve issues as they come up.
Absolutely, Fedora KDE is a great pick for everything you mentioned. It’s user-friendly and stable, perfect for media consumption and general use.
Fedora is solid for your needs! You can customize and theme it however you want, and there's no right or wrong way to do it. Just remember that when it comes to 4K streaming, Linux has restrictions due to DRM libraries not being available. If you mostly watch at 1080p or 720p, you shouldn’t run into any major issues, so keep enjoying Fedora!
That’s good to know! I really enjoy using Fedora so far.

Thanks for the reassurance!
