I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my phone shows it's connected to the internet but suddenly says 'no internet connection.' It happens randomly, and I've tried all sorts of resets and tricks with my phone, but nothing's worked. I even rebooted the router, but the problem persists until it resolves itself after a while. Today, my laptop started doing the same thing. It says it's connected and secured, but then shows a message about no internet access, indicating it can only connect to other devices on the network. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

It sounds like your ISP or router might be the issue rather than your devices. Some Internet Service Providers drop connections from time to time. For example, I've had similar hiccups with my service that lasted a few minutes to a couple of hours. It might just be something you have to deal with, or consider switching providers if it persists.
Have you considered trying an Ethernet cable to see if that helps with stability? Just plugging it directly in can sometimes make a difference, even if you’re used to Wi-Fi.
I don’t have an Ethernet cable or anything to plug into right now, unfortunately.

I’m with BT, and it can last for over two hours sometimes. Do you think I should just endure it until I can change my provider?
