I'm having trouble with my AirPods—the noise cancellation feature isn't activating, and I keep getting an error telling me to 'put both AirPods in for noise cancellation.' Additionally, the 'Find My' feature isn't working with them either. I recently acquired these AirPods as 'refurbished' and even replaced the right one at the Apple store, where I also paired them. It seems like the right one is the issue since it doesn't switch to transparency mode like the left one does when I put it in, and I only hear the activation sound when I have the left AirPod in. Does anyone know what could be causing these issues?

Why are you using 'refurbished' in quotes? Did you get them from a certified seller? Apple usually doesn't sell individual earbuds unless there's a story behind the serial number. If your original pair was a counterfeit, that could be why the new one isn't syncing properly with the left one!
Yeah, AirPods can totally be a pain after a refurb. I faced a similar issue once. I ended up using Krisp Meeting Assistant as a workaround for calls. It won’t fix the hardware, but it really cleaned up the mic input for me during calls when the audio got funky.

I meant refurbished as in cleaned up! My mom said she bought the right one directly from Apple, but that’s all the info I have.
