Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a good cloud provider that offers services comparable to Azure, GCP, and AWS, but based in Europe. Ideally, I'm looking for options that won't break the bank and have a solid uptime guarantee of at least 99.99%. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!

CleverCloud, Scaleway, and OVH are the main ones I can think of. Just be careful with data regulations; the Cloud Act can be a concern. OVH may not offer the same services as Azure, particularly with identity and access management.
If your applications are smaller in scale, edge platforms like Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, and Deno Deploy could be more cost-effective options. They perform really well for small applications!
How about Hetzner? I've heard they have pretty good services and reasonable pricing.
I work with a consultancy and we're eyeing OVH and Scaleway for our EU clients. OVH has been straightforward for us, while Scaleway is user-friendly, though they have a more limited range of services compared to major US providers. They both seem like solid options!
I've used Scaleway for about two years and it's been great! They listen to customer feedback and roll out updates frequently. They even provide Mac VMs, which are great for AI projects or building iOS apps.
Don't forget about StackIT from Germany; they're backed by the Schwarz group, which is the biggest retailer in Germany. They've got a solid reputation!

Which one would you prefer between the two?
